I am writing this letter to give the highest possible recommendation to Philip Tesoriero as a professional speaker. We had Philip Tesoriero present his course on “Navigating and Negotiating the Short Sale” to almost 400 agents in Suffern New York in October 2009, and had an absolutely terrific response.  We found him to be engaging, interesting, credible, and extremely well-informed about the difficult and complicated subject of short-sales, and would recommend him to any organization considering retaining him as a speaker.

 

This was the first time we had brought an outside trainer in to speak to the agents in more than six years, because we do most of our training in-house.  But the subject of short-sales and foreclosures was specialized enough that we believed we needed an expert in the field, and the fact that the course came with continuing education credit in New York was a bonus.

 

Philip was absolutely terrific. He kept the agents engaged for the full day by clearly and effectively explaining the short-sale process, and giving them great tips for getting their short-sale packages approved by a loss mitigation department. The class was dense with extremely helpful information – no fluff or elaboration, just strong insights into the short-sale process, one after another.  More importantly, he kept the class moving with humor and personality, never letting the class drag or losing his audience.

 

I would recommend Phil for three main reasons.  First, he is incredibly knowledgeable about his subject.  Second, he has the communication ability to relay that information to an audience, even a large audience of 400 people, through humor and personality. And third, the agents relate to him because he has the credibility of having actually done the work in the field (and is still doing the work) and because his personality is that of a “regular guy,” not a generic trainer.
